Montreal (QC) October 10th, 2014: On the eve of the International Day of the Girl, the Nobel Committee awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to its youngest recipient yet: Malala Yousafzai. Girls Action Foundation is delighted by the prestigious recognition of an international girls’ rights advocate.

As service providers that work with youth and diverse populations, there are many challenges when talking about difficult subjects. With discussing LGBTTQQIA issues with newcomer youth, challenges can be increased with having to juggle a range of diverse life experiences, faiths, cultural backgrounds, and more.
