This fall, Girls Action is organizing its second National Career Day to help girls explore new career options, meet inspiring women leaders, increase their confidence, and expand their view of themselves and their futures!
Stepping It Up is a daylong networking meet-up for youth serving organizations in Quebec. This one day networking event will bring together groups and service providers to identify key issues facing girls and young women, share skills and exchange tools.
Girls and young women across Canada face unique challenges in matters of health and health promotion. This project, built on evidence-based promising practices in girls’ health promotion, will engage partners in national, provincial, and local organizations to develop a health promotion program to support girls in healthy living and wellness.
An online toolkit that contains relevant and accessible web-based tools for young women to prevent and better respond to violence in intimate relationships. Each tool has been tested and approved by young women across Canada to ensure their applicability across varying contexts and social locations.
In the past few weeks, we provided a total of thirteen grants of $1000 to young women between the ages of 16-25 from across Canada to help them develop innovative actions and leadership initiatives in their communities. These grants help these young women further develop their leadership skills while making an impact in their community. Find out who they are!
