CHANGE THE BEAT - Benefit concert for Girls Action Foundation featuring a variety of local artists across genres such as: Jenny Salgado (a SPARK in the LIGHT A SPARK campaign), Krista Muir, Empire ISIS, Mary Hell, Mad June, Nomadic Massive, Robin Gorn, Adèle Barclay, Melissa Bull, and Tishawna Callender (15 year old hip hop artist from Girls Action`s Girls Club program).

From hip hop, pop, rock, electro  to spoken word, CHANGE THE BEAT celebrates the end of Girls Action`s LIGHT A SPARK campaign which has united SPARKS; women of influence who have made it, and want to give back to girls and young women in our networks and programs.

ALL AGES (entrance FREE under 12 years old)

June 15th 2011 at 7:30pm at the Rialto Theatre.

Through LIGHT A SPARK, Girls Action Foundation is mobilizing women of success to support girls’ empowerment. Our goal is to ignite a movement for change across the country activated through intergenerational events, mentorship, traditional and social media. 

Join us for a unique 5 to 7 intergenerational evening in celebration of young women's leadership and Girls Action Foundation's work to empower the next generation of girls.
