Look Closer: Girls and young women taking action against poverty

Hot off the presses!

An original comic book that features stories about girls taking action against poverty in their communities. These stories are based on real-life actions that were part of the National Day of Action, an event organized by Girls Action Foundation/Fondation filles d’action on February 14 every year!

This awareness raising tool is now distributed across Canada with support from sponsor agencies including the Boys and Girls Club of Canada, The National Alliance for Children and Youth, YWCA Canada, The Centre for Research & Education on violence against Women and Children and the Native Women's Association of Canada.
