NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION
Sugar and spice and everything nice, that’s what Valentine’s Day is usually made of…or is it? For the 12th consecutive year, Girls Action Foundation flipped the script on sending chocolate and shining light on girls and young women who are making an impact in their communities instead.
COMMUNITY ACTIONS
More than 40 grassroots actions took place across the country. From Charlottetown (PEI) to the Cree Nation of Wemindji (QC) to Whitehorse (YT), national network members collaborated with girls and young women to highlight issues that are rooted and important to their communities. Thanks to everyone who registered their action!
Blogging Carnival
Every year, kickaction.ca hosts a three-week-long blogging carnival.
Since February 14th 2015, Girls Action’s National Day of Action, bloggers from across Canada shared their experience, their knowledge and their opinions on issues related to young women. kickaction.ca always recruits bloggers, let us know if you'd like to be a blogger!
